I forgot where to find that boy for the Cambria quest given by Martha... checked San Mona and didn't find him, can he be in Chitzena too as she said?

He's supposed to be either at the mine or outside the southern window of the brothel both in San Mona.

BTW, the "only" thing this gets you is a small boost of morale in his hometown. Often by the time I have a chance to even do the quest morale is at or near 100% anyway.

yep i did that.

where exactly at the mine should he be? i searched all mine entrances in both kingpin's sector and the actual san mona mine sector. he also isn't at the brothel.

If you talk to Hans he will also give you a hint that Joey has been around, and after that he will show up a little sooner, peeping in the brothel window. After you bring Joey back home, the other Doctor at the hospital not Vince, will give you a one time free medical healing. So it's best to bring all your casualties for that one. And not waste it on one merc.

I allways finds him lurking at the window next to The Shady Lady, peeping and who knows... stuff...
Howerver, once I found him inside the bar in that same sector on the bathroom, maybe he needed to go? Who knows? It was in one of the first updated versions of the plain vanilla JA2. May have been a bug, never experienced it again thoug. Never heard anyone else experienced it either... weird... Smile

I saw where he was placed in the code and it was either the mine or the brothel. Dunno if it is fixed or if he can swap between the two.

btw this boosted the cambria loyality from 88% to 99% just before the mine shut down, so it was a nice boost in money though i had about 100k $ on my account at that time anyway (bull parked in san mona to sell guns and do bloodsport)

Actually you don't need to bring that "perva" kid to his poor mother if your loyalty is above 70 or 80%.I haven't done this and still could recruit Vince or receive medical attention.Although it's funny to kill him just to see her mother having a heart attack. :biglaugh: Great programmers,they thought about everything...... :bow:

I think you need 3 cities before you can recruit Devin. He's a good cheap explosives expert you can pick up fairly early....especially if you can't stand Red. His mrks is a little low, but give him a scoped garand or something, and he'll do fine.

I love Devin's lines. Incidentally, I managed to purchase things off him after he joined me. Turns out that if an NPC passes an item to him (say, Carmen giving you the money for MoM's head) it will open his store. So I had Devin buy RDX off Devin. Odd, no?

I always found Joey in front of the brothel`s window, no matter what townsfolk say. For example Hans told me that the boy is in the mines, but he was staring at the window as always. Inportant think is, that he`s there only during the opening hours (9AM - 6PM +-). I found him in every game, but this quest is undoubtly a little bit tricky.
