Hi there, long time player of JA2 here trying this awesome mod once more.
I'm currently in the southern parts of the map, and I came across gun-toting civilians in some sectors , N13 Nok Tan for example, the village under bloodcat assault. That sector has a house with two armed civilians and a stash of ammo and supplies, but they shoot me if I try to take anything. The normal civs don't go hostile. I killed the armed guys, and saw that they dropped some pretty nice weapons too.
I wasn't sure if killing them would negatively impact other village sectors, so I didn't save the game with them dead. I decided to leave them be.
So my question is this: What are the side-effects of looting those stashes/killing the civvies? If it's just having to kill a different faction of people like in Urban Chaos, I wouldn't see that as a big nuisance. :rifle:

Thanks Shrike. I'll be sure to go back in there and loot me some goodies.
Though, now I got another problem. I cleared the FB Judy sector and I remember that Lt. Stone is supposed to give a quest to find his lighter. I talked to him with Thor (61 leadership), my highest leadership merc, but no matter what he won't give it to me. I don't remember where it was, and also I'm not sure if he'll give me his weapon if I give him the lighter without the quest.
Oh, and the An Loc city is probably the farthest I ever got in any of my Vietnam SOG '69 games, though I gave up since at the time, the difficulty was too hard for me. Oh, and the civilians that got in the way didn't help either.
