jpg: Do you really use the exact same route in every playthrough? Same mercs, too, perhaps? Exactly same tactics?
More or less, I know it seems rather silly, but I like the mercs I am used to enlist and don't want to keep them out of the game. It's the same for the playthrough I always conquer methodically the whole map, with as many mercs as I can enlist, other play styles (small team, solo, short campaign...) don't interest me.
Each campaign takes me at least 6 month as I don't want to spend every evenning facing a computer (after the first couple of week :/) . When I begin a new one, usually after a couple of year, I want the same as before with more ... but no less.

I usually rescue Shank and Dynamo fairly early in the game, so he has plenty of time to learn stuff. He doesn't make the 'A' night-ops town taking team, but he does well enough defending captured territory with the 'B' team. He's relatively smart, and the price is right.
