When goodness grows weak,
When evil increases,
I make myself a body.
In every age I come back
To deliver the holy,
To destroy the sin of the sinner,
To establish righteousness.

I am surrounded by priests who repeat incessantly that their kingdom is not of this world, and yet they lay their hands on everything they can get.

Will GatesSo my pixelated friends the time has come to say goodbye; after many years haunting this and other forums (though not so much of late) I must bid you all farewell. I'm being made redundant and work is my only connection to the e-world. If you have any last minute questions you want to ask you have approx two months before I vanish. It may be from time to time I can look in from another terminal but it will be sporadic at best. All things being well I may be able to re-establish some kind of comms link in about 18 months time but there are no guarantees. I salute you.

I knew you would be back.

@Logisteric
The able intellect is taught the mysteries and the esoteric spiritual truths. The masses are taught the literal, exoteric interpretation.

It is important to learn what other people have learned, but too many people have lived and died for me to learn more than a small fraction of what they have learned. There is a prodigious supply of information, facts, opinions, theories, suppositions, and doctrines, but the wisdom needed to sort through the mountain of trash in the hope of finding a gold nugget is not supplied.

Despite all the greed, hatred and materialistic hullabaloo, many of us are feeling a need for an inner quest: What are we here for? Why so much misery and pain in life? Can we rise above this and make our lives more meaningful
