Hi, I'm new and French so sorry for my bad english devil

First I don't know if this post has is place in this forum ! (If you know what i mean), my problem is the next,

I want modify the characters of the game by proedit, but i don't know, the changes don't work, exemple i change the clothes of Magic i save but this is not working !!
Help me !!

Of course i seen the post about proedit but i don't understand what do you mean ! It's maybe because i'm french !

So i wait your advice impatiently !! Thanks for help me guys !!

Which version of JA2 are you playing? For example in the latest SCI the merc gear is controlled by mercstartinggear.xml. (I understand your post is in the Vanilla section of the forum, however in Vanilla the gear is edited by PROEDIT.EXE which modifies the file Prof.dat.)

Also, for any changes through proedit to work, you will have to start a new game. Loading an existing one will not reflect the changes.

I play on the 1.13 mod it's about that for the version ? And okay for the place of my post !

when you first play game, the version will be in the left hand corner of the sir-tech splash screen.

In 1.13, go into the folder "TableData" and open the file "MercProfiles.XML". Here you can make all changes you like.

Hi again, sorry but it don't work i do my modification in the files, same in the normal version !
But nothing what's wrong with me i do a wrong things ?
