I've been playing now for a week and I still can't find Skyrider/Yuri Orlov - whatever his name is. I've checked almost 1/4 part of the map.

I've checked also A11,12,13,14 and other sectors in this part of the map. I've no idea where to find him. I've been searching in this forum but still nothing.

Any idea?

Welcome to the Pit nanmin!

My current in game history log says i found him in E14, in the log of another game i have running it says C16.
Both are swamp sectors so check out any swamp sectors you have left, your screen shows C16 is unexplored for instance.

This screen was just an example. Now i loaded my earlier save and checked this swamps again.
Here's the result:

Pilot vanished without trace.

Sad

Is there any other way to get Skyrider? Can i change something in JA files to get him?... I don't see any chance to win it without a pilot (difficulty is expert)

Well thats mighty strange, never had that happen and i played an awful lot of RR.
You sure you really checked out the swamp sector thoroughly?
He usually hides in some kind of house or other structure, it is possible to overlook him.

Well, if all fails you might want to consider restarting.
Iirc you can not just "mod" the pilot in.
It is possible to finish the game without the heli. There are cars to ride around in but it is very tedious.
Again, that never happend to me and is very strange.
Are you sure that there is nothing wrong with your instal of the game maybe?
