Hey,
Long time JA fan, since the early 90's. Recently found 1.13 and DAMN! What a hell of alot of fun!
I've read through as much material as I can, to grasp all the concepts... still wrapping my head around a few things.
FIRST
On the wiki, there is an image of the map of Alruco, It has all the event locations, like SAM sites, and Blood cats. But what does the yellow symbol mean? in H16 for example?
SECOND
I've read people's comments, and uploads of pictures, about SUPER maps, absolutely massive territories, for combat! They look totally bad ass, and clearly ALOT of work has gone into this.
My understanding is that 1.13 is mostly a GUI and general interface/gameplay upgrade (Big upgrade!) But what about maps? What's the best load out? Is there a patch like WILDFIRE, that changes all the maps for new and improved ones? How do I start using these super maps? And can I use them mid game? IE before i've even gone to some of these places?
I'm setting up for the big Drassen counter attack, I want to fight the greatest battle of all time for Alruco... on a new map would be bad ass...
Let me know please!

I guess INSANE would validate the use of the 10x sniper rifle? I'm having a hell of a time using it, AT ALL, in JA2 1.13 vanilla... I mean, clear across the map, is practically "Too Close".
Thanks guys.
Is there anyway I can save my IMP mercs, and their gear, for a refurb / restart of the game, on INSANE difficulty, with INSANE maps? You guys are the experts

IMPs are saved in \profiles\userprofile_... and the filename is $nickname_of_your_IMP.dat2
You can reload them into any 1.13 game by entering the nickname in the IMP starting webpage instead of the generation code.
