iov team:please try adapt your mod[exe 5262] for exe based on sci 5270, sci 5262 have nas loop bug,this one make your mod unplayble,it is a nearly imposible making anything in sector inventory ...

Don't know why but with the new SVN by Tais you recommended, Spooky is always without any equipment.

XML Editor however says he should equipped with the kits. *shrugs*

dont know if your purposely trying to hobble your mod..but why have you been selecting known buggy bad builds to base on?..you really should stick with proven builds and not upgrade the base until a stable new one is released..IoV927 is horridly unplayable with either build you suggest..you really need to be more selective and not just slap stuff on whatevers newest out..i'm really disappointed Sad
my suggestion..is to go back in time and use as a base a known build thats stable and not be so cncerned about what new tiny tweak may be in a newer build and re-release 927 on a stable build..otherwise..i have to say a big ZONK to 927..sorry

Tbh, I was never that interested in this line of mods, but requiring a proprietary exe for some really minor changes finally killed it for me.

first i try 927 on sci 5224 this wont work good,iov team tell this is made for sci 5262,this sci have loop bug in nas system[this causing speed problems to unplayble state]iov team made new exe for sci 5270[nas loop is fixed now ?] svn 4870 & iov 927 on top,this cant work... im be happy if you show me some proof

no..i've tried 6 builds..no go..this is a total fubar..i believe they are tryign to go beyond mod and into new game mod with disastrous results..just do a mod..use a stable build..stick to it and stop trying to reinvent the mousetrap and i'll come back..until then..IoV is off my playlist..i'm too old to be a guinea pig for something that shouldnt be this eff'd up

The problem I have met is that NCTH cursor is alvays showing a scope's magnification figures instead of effective magnification based on range. But this is the issue of both IOV and 1.13 exes so the problem must be deeper then this mod. I have not met any other issues within the limited testing. As for the weapons and LBE - great job. As AIM does not support NCTH and I am a huge NCTH believer there is only one "competitor" here - AFS.

Weapon jam is really a cool thing. Thanks for the huge work.

The game go to slowly caused by 523x new nas system algorithm. I don't know why new nas system algorithm consume cpu resources. IoV's Attachments.xml size is 3.01MB, 1.13's Attachments.xml only 632KB. Dboy(IoV's moder) only try to reduce Attachments.xml file size now.

Because Spooky is later added to 1.13. Spooky has no equipment in IoV know.

I know, but the thing is that the XML Editor showed me he *should* have some equipment. There is an M1911 in his first kit for example.

I tried changing it, giving him something different, but it still doesn't show up.

tryied sci 5280+ iov 927[5270 exe]if you have small squad of merc[magic/scully/scope 3 merc total] runing fine & fast,when you have squad of six or seven merc game speed going down ....

There are ton of attachments in IoV, so it might be possible to speed things up by using the CAF instead of assigning attachments to each item individually.

It works particularly well for things like rail systems, where you have many attachments that can be attached to many similar guns.

Well, its not the only way. I didn't have any slowdowns on my PC with the existing setup. But attachment processing should be faster using CAF.

I still think that the slowdowns are due to something else, like possibly the high speed timer.

Bug Report.

Tais SCI(Unstable svn 5280) + IoV928.

I Right clicked on item and crashed.

(Item description and attachment window is invisible and
can't click everyone in merc's portrait)

IoV 928 exe file is based on latest 1.13 exe build (5345), which in turn based on some latest game_dir files (i have no idea which exactly of them). In order to run 1.13 build after 5304 or any other exe's based on them you'll have to get latest full SVN, since all available SCI's out there are outdated.

P.S. Dear OP, could you _please_ make one final version, not 3 different files, each one needs to be downloaded separately. Just another question:

I am using svn 1501, with iov revision 43.
Now my question:

I am switching the sights with ".".
I get the yellow reflex sight, ok.
I get the iron sight (looks like a grey crown), ok.
And then i get an icon in the weapon s picture (looks like a brown explosion), What the hell is that?
In the weapons advanced properties page i have seen this icon. But there is written: "Dirt Modifier"
So what does it mean, when i am switching with "."

Thanks if someone could help me.
