In BiA there is a sector/map "Hideout" that is named "Bears Pitt River" ingame. :happybear:

I'm astonished that no one seems to have noticed yet ... Wink

The makers of BiA might not have the best sense for a JA game, but they seem to have a god sense of humor. Very Happy

they didn't put a minefield in that map that only engages developers of games that fail?

One would think a German developer would not mess up the joke in the German game version, but no ... how am I supposed to associate 'B

Maybe the joke/irony/sarcasm has been aimed on those using english version of BiA as it is a purely english written board here?

That's a likely explanation, shows their being uninformed though if you look at the quota of Germans among the active core users here.

Edit: Yes, I'm over analyzing this. So what, I'm bored Razz

LMAO, I do believe it's an easter egg. It's not like this forum has been against BiA as an entity (we do have a forum for it), but about one in two persons posting on the official forum mentioned the JA2 mods being made at Bear's Pit. So the devs might've got sick of hearing about us lol...

But it's a good LOL.
