OMG I'm getting really frustated about the whole aiming time thing. As it seems, the better the scope the more time it takes no matter how high your Agility is.

1) How do I efficiently reduce the aiming time? seriously... what's the point of having a gun ready aiming at the narrow corridor/door/hallway if a guy can just storm his way running, turn around and hit you INTERRUPTING your aiming time.

2) Any tip about sniping? as it seems enemy always find your position even when they are not looking... you just shot a patrol guy in the head and his partner guess your hiding spot in seconds

1 use a smaller or no scope. At least try to have a good mix in the squad.

2 shoot from further away.

I find the scopes are most useful in open areas where you have a very long distance to shoot from ...also I noted that the prone position appears to give the fastest aim.
For close combat I use something that has between 700-1000 rpm and use single shot (rather then burst) normally can keep the enemy from getting any shots off this way, another suggested would be to not depend on guard mode too much I found it to be far less reactive and accurate then if I manually control my mercs.

Good Luck! Smile

Firing shotguns from the hip rules in CQC, they are fast enough and you literally can't miss at those ranges - I'm still using 2 of them in Balime and will probably hold unto them until the end.

Agree, shotgun rules in CQB.

Hip-shot with shotgun is so dam quick and has decent accuracy, ever in long range it can use to disrupt the shot back from enemy and buy time for other merc to aim.

Even Though shotguns are awesome from the hip i don't like have to switch from a rifle to a shotgun when entering a building from outside/open territory. Depends on the enemy's weapon but i like to get them to chase me and isolate them for an ambush outside. As i play this game longer i find myself creating new and fun ways of killing.

Edit: I figured out a way to rush someone without getting hit in the open. Serpentine!!!!

The pit forgives you.

But 1.13 is still angry... Next time you play it, you will get killed. The game knows... Wink
