unrepairable items:
  • Ghillie Kit
  • Ghillie Set
  • Ceramic Plates
  • Armor which is combined with Camo Uniform

weird: in A6 all mercs deny to prone while not looking to the northwest or southeast

Spotter feature seems not working

40mm Buckshot and Flechette are sometimes very heavy in mercs inventory. Two of them weight araound 20kg until you click them and replace them.

Just wanted to report, what I saw.
For ceramic plates, unrepairability seems to be a feature. They are just heavily damaged after holding a projektile.
If one can repair a 80% destroyed titan plate with C-18, shouldn't one be able to repair the ceramic plates with C-20?
I am not sure which would fit best the idea of it.
Personally, I think, some more items should be unique or evanescent.

An idea: ceramic plates, all the polymeric fibre stuff and maybe some more items should become inrepairable if they got too much damage (50%?, 70%?)

But what about the Ghillie Stuff? Normally, it is made by oneself from relativly easy gettable stuff. It should be easy to repair it. Just pin some green and brown coloured old rag over the bulletholes Very Happy

Yes, I agree, Ghillie should be repairable. I'll fix that.

As for ceramic plates and titanium plates, you'd have to use compound on them to repair them, as already mentioned. Same with camo uniforms (I'm just way too lazy to add those combine merges for all camo uniforms + compound... they add up to something like 300 merges).

Yeah, fixed it and added the merges... wasn't as bad, as I thought.

And the A6 bug happens in other sectors with cliffs as well, I suspect it to be a very old bug, that Rowa had fixed like at least 2 years ago, but somehow it sneaked back in.

About the 40mm ammo, this has been reported earlier before, as well. No idea how to fix it. It might be related to the ammo type, the size or the magazine size (or something completely different...).

Keep on reporting, I'll probably upload the updated files this weekend.

In turnbased mode, some combinations of weapons and backpacks (i guess) cause the items in the backpack to drop while extending collapsed stocks.

Something happens in the border sectors. I got several time the issue, that after entering e.g. C16, I can't load saved games. "ERROR loading the game". While loading an older savegame is possible, saving after this problem appears, produces corrupt savegames.

The backpacks issue is probably because the items don't fit the backpack slot (same as the binoculars probably). Can you specify which items cause this?

The issue with the border sectors is new, never happened yet to me. Don't know what's causing it. Is it only happening in C16 or other sectors as well? It might be, that it could be somehow related to Skyrider placement, not sure about that, though.

Ok, first the savegame problem:
It is actually my second installation of the XMAS release since christmas.
I've encountered that problem now again. Everytime, I was around the sector D16 but had visited it before. All I can say is that I was in the sector or after defeating the enemies there a second time and then left again. So, after or while this seems to be the point where something goes wrong.

I can load an autosavegame some hours before but if I immidiatly save then. The problem is there. I played several hours before it happens first and saved in between. but I have to go some days back to find a savegame, that works.
But I have also played in the XML editor, duplicating one weapon and removing the heavy weapons flag.

Second the backpack:
It happens only in turnbased mode. The 2 big pockets of the blackhawk are full. Tried it with AAC Honey Badger and SR-2 Veresk.

A similar error recently happened due to my fault - exes between r6705 and r6708 are bad. If you use one of those, switch to something >= r6709.

And, in that case, set CAMPAIGN_HISTORY_MAX_REPORTS to something low but positive, like 10.

Yeah, that's weird. I just checked the xml pocket data, nothing unusual going on there. They should all fit the pocket, guess it's something with transformation code (and to quote Reuban "me no code fix it guy").

adjusting 10x scope magnification results in dropping everything from the backpack and renders it unusable in turn based combat, i usually carry ammunition.
some flashlights don't work at all, and you can't have more than 3 switched on in the same time.
firing the mini-gun takes your breath away in one turn, grizzly or steroid can fire only once and then fall down, since the magazine is around 2000 bullets, this beauty should be fed from the backpack directly.
there's no rifle sling slot and rifle sling, don't know if this 1.13 standard or not.

What's up everyone ? Been away for almost two years now... I dreamed a couple of nights ago I was searching on Google for the word AIMNAS ! so I woke up with Jagged Alliance in mind decided to give it another run ; took me quite a bunch of attempts to recall my Bear's Pit account password but I'm here now and glad to see there's a fresh new AIMNAS around. So again, what do I need, beside a JA2 Gold clean install, to get it back working ? Thanks for your comprehension ; 2 years off left me kinda outdated... Cheers !

I'll look into it.
9x39 should show up on BR already. At least it is set to be available from there (in low quantities, but it should be buyable).

The LWMMG was not on sale on purpose, as I intendend to add it to a map as a special weapon, but for testing reasons I'll make it temporarily available from BR.

Losing health while in transit due to an ambient effect of a facility sounds like a bug. Losing it while in a sector can happen and is easily treated by a doctor.

Hmm... as we don't have a 1100 and the 870 is quite a common gun in the mod, I stick with it (even if not 100% accurate). But thanks for pointing it out.

Bobby Ray's:
  • 9x39mm not on sale
  • General Dynamics LWMMG not on sale

I'll look into it.
9x39 should show up on BR already. At least it is set to be available from there (in low quantities, but it should be buyable).

My mistake.
I meant the 9x39 Mag-Adapter. It is only available via Tony. That's no bug.
