Hi, like in topic.
dehydration - can't get water from retail
problem with the canteen - I can't refill them ! is that common ? any solution or fix ?

Hit Ctrl+. (dot) and a contextual menu should pop up.

Choose refill canteen. There must be a supply of water in the sector AFAIK for it to be filled.

What exactly is not working? Does the menu not show when you press CTRL + . or is the option not available?
Are you using a custom map? The map needs to have an 1 tag in Data-1.13\TableData\Map\SectorNames.xml that is not 0 for that sector as far as I know.

ctrl + . menu is showing up -> I'm selecting refill canteen -> nothing is happening

I'm not using custom map

I'v checked every sector on map

I'v checked 1 tag in Data-1.13\TableData\Map\SectorNames.xml it's normal difrent water types but result in refill is the same Sad

*I'v checked other ctrl + . menu options all of them are NOT working

** Problem solved -> I feel like dumbass new release don't work with my old ver. of JA2 / my friend gold ver. working ok

Hey, all,

This has been bugging me for a while; in Jagged Alliance 1 (original) they were refilled at base overnight.
The only time (in JA2 1.12 vanilla) one needed water (let alone food) was after getting gassed or 'smoked', or the gas-mask didn't work in the mustard-gas cloud.
Did this contextual menu exist in 1.12 or is it new to 1.13?

I tried "re-filling" a canteen in one of the storage screens - FAILED; one has to have a MERC in tactical/ sector-map mode. Then it worked.
I haven't tried refilling ALL canteens in the sector from the click of one button.
I haven't tried the "food" system, or the liquor system (get an informant drunk? to get information?)
Can you buy an otherwise non-talkative NPC a drink in order to get news?

(Is there a "meth-lab" in JA2-UC?) not sure
