I really enjoyed the story and the effort that went into making the wasteland feel... well like a wasteland of the southwestern united states. i just couldn't get over how slow the game played. It felt like it was "read for 20 minutes, walk around for 10 minutes, get stuck in combat for 20 minutes, rinse & repeat". Also, you couldnt really progress in the game unless you built your team a certain way. Sure, you could choose whatever skills you wanted and use whatever weapons you wanted but unless you had 2-3 assault weapon users and a sniper, you were pretty much screwed once you got past the prison. I felt that was one of the worst features of the game. They gave you the illusion of many choices.
Dont get me wrong, i put close to 70 hours into it, made several different groups and got to the M.A.D. monks playing both the AG center and Highpool "story arcs". It just felt like your choices didn't have much wieght in the world, seeing as how they make it seem like everything you do has ripple effects. Maybe i didnt get far enough into the game to see the difference. I doubt it tho.
I'd only recommend this game to people if it was played on easy with a squad thats at max level, that way you can just skip all the terrible combat and enjoy the story and lore, which was AMAZING.

Those games are all very fun. I just got hong kong. The first 2 had some fun twists and turns. What kind of character are you going to play?
Also, have you heard of cyberpunk 2077? I think thats the title, atleast. Its from the people that just made the witcher 3. CD projekt red, i think....
