Hello to everyone in this wonderful website.

Long time ago , i bought a game called Soldiers at War. At that time i was relatively new to PC gaming, only after installing it and trying to play it, i realised that it was a turn - based game, which i had no idea of .Anyway, the game sucked and it didn't do well, it also left me with a fear for turn - based games.When JA2 shipped, i noticed it on the selves and asked the sales guy about it , his reply was " great turn based game" . I froze momentarily, then left.
I went back a few days later and finding no other new but worthy games,i picked up JA2 with a sense of unease. Read the manual from cover to cover, the detail made for in interesting read so my hopes went up a little.I liked the interfaces and all but had no idea how to build a good team or which ones to pick for my starting small squad, the turn based wasn't as horrible as i expected. The bird's eye view allowed me to survey the battlefield and soon i started figuring out little tricks, or tactics.Such as camping around building corners to set ambushes, going prone or kneel, creating crossfire situations,etc, and i started having a blast I got more into it over time,My starting team would be Shadow,Night (my IMP, night ops merc) and Steroid (for the Repair Kit he carried). Later on when i got my first C-7 i exclaimed "wow",looking at the stats, imagine my reaction when i got the FN-FAL, the superweapon :)With scope, laser sight,etc .I like playing night ops and became really good at it.
I still play this game to this day and i have found the lovely mods, 1.13 and Arulco revisited and JA2 has become a whole new game.Now i am having twice the blast ) I also found the first JA, Deadly Games,UB of course and even tried BiA.
Anyway, this is my story with JA2 and i am more than happy to be here ,among all the other veterans :)Great work,great site, i hope that we'll be around for a very long time, keep up the awesomely great work !!!

Hey hey, long time no see, i was away from home and pc, glad to be back

I have a couple of questions and i am not sure if this is the right place to post them. Since i've started this thread i don't feel too guilty. Ok here goes :

1. The Bear's Pit doesn't open anymore in the default page with the newest messages. Did i mess it up somehow or was there a change by the moderators ? Is there a way to get back to that page ?
2. Is there a way to add attachments to an e-mail directed to another member of this website ? I did try to e-mail some pictures to Shanga but there is no attachment (paperclip icon) option.
