@Gopas, @Hawkeye Hey, fixed flyboy trait, there was a missing condition in the code causing each damage to instantly down the heli instead of allowing for 3 hits.
Expected behaviour is:
- on each sector reached pilots with flyboy trait (Jerry) have chance to damage the heli, accompanied by pilot quote and message in the log
- accident chance can be modified/lowered manually in \Data-Vengeance\Skills_Settings.INI as FLYBOY_ACCIDENT_CHANCE, it's 10% by default (for comparison SAM hit chance in red sectors is 33% for ace pilots and 50% for Jerry)
- heli can be damaged 3 times before crashing (same as with receiving SAM hit)
- on the second damage received, pilot will automatically try to fly back to the airport
- received damage can be repaired by Waldo if he's alive, requiring time and money, prompt will trigger when you land at the airport, if you skip the prompt you can also just talk to Waldo directly and he will offer repairs again (1.13 feature)

- in addition there's 33% per sector that pilot will instantly crash if they're currently seriously drunk, but this is easily preventable by just keeping them sober
As for crash happening every single time on the same route, that's because chances of damage are using "pre-randomized" numbers, meaning all random checks will have the same outcome after reloading the game. Same can be observed after reloading the game during battle and taking the exact same shots. This is anti-save scum feature from vanilla JA, though it can be fooled by e.g. triggering additional actions before or changing their order, so it's not always obvious.
Hope that makes Jerry slightly more viable as a pilot. He's already a joke character

I am having the same issue with latest SCI download. I cannot build sandbags in Drassen mine. Version says it is 1.13.7609 20.01.18
Edit: I needed to put the shovel in build mode. I can build sandbags in Drassen Mine, but mercs can walk right through them after they are placed as if they are ghost images. The sand bags I construct in the Drassen Airfield sector are solid, unlike the ones constructed in the mine sector. There seems to be an issue with the tile set for the mine.

Try copying the file "sandbag.jsd" from Tileset 17 (Drassen Airport) to Tileset 23 (Drassen Mine) (in Data-maps-tiles/tilesets). If this ain't solve it, go back to a save before you ever entered the map of Drassen Mine, so that when you first enter this map, the map will then load with the copied jsd included.
Might be allready fixed in more recent VR versions.

Sector M1: Malino Oil Rig.
I have my mercs inside the control room with the switch that detonates explosive charges in rig and the enemy can see and shoot through the walls of the control room. I suspect this may have to do with the security camera that I assume allows the enemy to see into the room. Evidently the game interprets this as the targets inside the control room are exposed to weapon fire originating outside the control room.
BTW - I am really enjoying the mod and appreciate all the hard work that has into it. The post JA2 setting works very well. A big thank you to all involved in this project.

The game locks up when I bring Maria to Angel in San Mona. He gives me the leather jacket and when I close the dialog window I get the eternal stop watch. Updated to latest version.
EDIT: well, strangely enough after posting this bug it has disappeared. Although I tried several times before. Now Angel gives me the jacket, the dialog closes and he walks off automatically. However Maria is still in my team. I guess it can't hurt to have a sex slave as company.

I am not sure if this counts as a bug but i'll mention it just in case. I am doing the sector where the sergeant, the general and Conrad are hanging out. As soon as i've killed the first enemy at the gate to the south,to the far north there is an explosion, it's the sergeant and he gets wounded. When i finally get to him - unlike vanilla - he is wounded but not bleeding out. However, once i spare him he walks to where the locker with the special rifle is supposed to be, only there is no locker since the whole wall has been destroyed with the explosion, resulting in the endless stopwatch. I know about the locker from my previous playthrough. I didn't do a hard save when i entered the sector so now i cannot restart my raid. it's ok, i never use those rifles anyway

Why does he have to explode his ass off and destroy walls and lockers ?? Or, you could move the locker to another room, a bit down some corridor, away from the point of the explosion. That would simlify things.

I don't think this is Krott playing with explosives, this is intended as the weapons stored there are booby trapped, if an alarm is tripped the weapons room gets destroyed. It's a very similar game mechanic to Vanilla, if a bit of a basic one and suggests you should proceed with newer armed sectors with caution and stealth. You shouldn't be getting an endless stopwatch however, try to see if you can Esc out of it, or if you have a save send it to me.

I'm not sure where the problem is coming from but auto fast forward during turns isn't working for militia that don't see the enemy. This happened after the latest update.
