Hey all,

I just started a GoFundMe for my good friend and former colleague Shaun Lyng. I'm sure I don't have to explain who he is and how crucial his role in JA was.

If there's anything you feel you can do, we would most appreciate it!

Sincere thanks,
Ian

We'll get this rolling. Shaun's magic touch is a big part of what we love about Jagged Alliance. My heart sunk when i read his story. Life is definitely not fair.

Sorry to hear Shaun is doing it tough. I'd sure like to say thanks to the voice of Wolf and Razor among other talents.

One question though, does 'go fund me' ask for money in foreign currencies it supports or only US dollars from those of us outside America. If payments are taken direct from a bank outside the States, they're likely to charge fees, sometimes more than the donation?

Depends on how much you plan to donate. On small $10-15 donations the charges should be below $1. On smaller sums even less - probably there is a low limit where donation = fees, but that's quite low.

Where are you from, Shanga?

As far as I can tell most Australian banks charge a flat fee for any foreign exchange, so that would take a lot out of say a $10 or $20 donation, that's why I'm wondering if the donation can be made in another (in this case Australian) currency. Otherwise something like Paypal would be a better option, even after their cut.

All those calls for help coming from the United States, people begging to live, that's so disheartening. Bittersweet feeling for a sheltered European.

I don't have a credit card, so if you find out a way to donate via PayPal, update me. This is like fighting a giant but damn, even if it only buys him a movie ticket, I'll be happy to give.
