Hi

I stumbled onto dgVoodoo2, which wraps DDraw into directX11, and after a little bit of fiddling got it to work with JA 2.
It's a bit finicky and there are some minor graphics errors, but it enables ReShade and its pixel shaders to be used with this game.

I can't post links yet due to my post count, but I've made an imgur album which has a couple of screenshots of different shaders in action as well as the settings I used to get JA running.

Both programs can be found easily through Google.

Unpack the dgVoodoo into some folder and copy the ddraw.dll and d3dimm.dll into JA's root folder. The game folder needs to be added to the dgvoodoo control panel, and after that you can adjust the settings according the pictures I linked to.
For ReShade, just follow the installation instructions and select when it asks for the directx version, pick the directx10+ option.
Hope someone else enjoys this as well!

Apologies, if this is the wrong section, feel free to move this to a better place.

Seems a lot of effects doesnt work, especially ones that use preprocess masks like MXAO. Shame because i wanted to see if you can add ambient occlusion.

MXAO, depth of field etc need a depth buffer in order to work and since JA is not a 3D game, well...There's not really any way to have it.
