should be simple since this site is not notpron.org, perhaps try the most common one.
The point is that the related topics appear on "last 10 messages" list,
assuming that i am not the only one who does not have permission,
and also belonging to a big majority based on related topics view&reply counts,
the tiny amount of wasted time for many users who all get the "you dont have perm..." message
adds up to a huge amount of wasted resources over the time for all those topics,
much bigger than what the avg person needs to get to the point where he/she can read the message,
ofc quite redundant after reading this one, or the between the lines of the 1st.
Perhaps make related topics better visible, e.g. use italics when listed among last 10 messages,
or whatever the available modules of fud allow.
And while you are there, could link to topics last page from that list in additional column or via "date posted",
perhaps add one or two step/click(s) as hurdle so the ot stuff does not increase too much.
Some music as compensation for topic that is wasting even more time of innocent users.

Thanks @Shanga for explanation,
and pardon me for assuming that it is not a software restriction, i couldn't imagine.
Knowing that now makes it easier to accept for me, and hopefully others.
Certainly no reason to lock a poor coder in the basement,
or even pay much $ for different SW with most certainly other weakness that will soon be revealed by users, etc
Just listen to Raga Charukeshi and all the dimension tearing rifts will instantly close. ;)
