First of all thank you for this great mod thumbs up I will post updates on my first run walktrough.

In the beginning I encountered difficulties related to teleport and enemies really strong (for novice) so if this is first time you are playing JA2 it will be hard. After few save/loads hired Mercs with premium equipment, and the walkthrough went smoother.
I did not understand why Keith (storekeeper) transferred to Meduna - he refuses to trade if loyality is low, and by the time loality is sufficient, he is not very useful - I am already far from Meduna.

Is it bug with LBE? it is making most of vests useless

Currently I cleaned Meduna, Estoni, Orta, Cambria and nearby SAM site. Sent my spies Mouse and Elroy to San Mona, where i encontered bugs or features?
In San Mona:
- No Tony/Hans (found in other location)
- Joey(received quest in San Mona from Martha) becomes hostile for no reason near Shady Lady
- No Angel
- No tattoo shop guy(forgot his name)
- No Darren and Boxing Figths (feature?)
- Boss do not like intruders, so i do not how to recruit him. Damon does not like. Maybe low leadership? Will try with Mike or Deidrana

In Estoni:
- I did not see Maddog (feature?) Saw him on other location (did not like me)

In Cambria:
I saw in Cambria mine merc Fidel started to fight rebels with bare hands and he was enemy to me as well(feature?). That was weird and suicidal attack from his side - rebels quickly dealt with him, I tried to help him, but could not reach in time.

SPOILERS:
Chitzena:
scouted with my spies.
- No quest for tourists to escort
- Have to fight Manuel(Sits in ACA Building in mine sector)

Tixa:
top level - nothing speacial
bottom level - scouted with my spies. Shank, Maddog and Dynamo waited for me) I kinda like Shank and Maddog, so my spies just went up to the surface.

Drassen:
Father Walker met me with weapon. From weapon he died.

SAM Site near Drassen (LOTS OF SPOILERS):
- Met Meltdown (she died without single shot)
- Buzz (resisted not for so long)
- Raven (as Buzz)
- Ice was not prepared and he missed a lot trying to shoot Deidrana. She did not.
- Stephen. Poor Stepen, waited in the HQ and eat lead in the end of the battle. Without a single shot.

Alma:
Matt thanked my for "busting out Dynamo from Tixa" big grin (he is still in Tixa on sublevel waiting for me)


Changes to the mod I would like to see:
- Return Keith to Cambria, or at least replace him with other shopkeeper in Cambria. UPD met Tony in outskirts of Meduna. Reason for having Keith in Meduna is questionable.

- Unlock the door to storage in ORTA underground level, since the scientist is hireable and could be accidentally hired.

future plans :
See quests in San Mona, Attack Chitzena(done), Tixa prison(done), Balime, Alma or Grumm, Drassen(done)

I assume you recruited Mike and Iggy in queen's gardens?
The mod is a walk in the park with overpowered mercs like Mike and Joe Pappanous. You can play expert and still have no problem.
Vests are not useless, except maybe Mike's initial vest.
Did you find the boat in S-E Meduna for the trip to the S-E of the country? You will find some of your missing chars there, being recruitable. Also you can escort the tourists from there to Meduna airport.
Hans and Tony are in an airstrip north of N7, it's up to you if you recruit them early in the game, but Tony has decent stuff for the beginning.
Skipper has the Orta electronic key on him at the beginning of the game when you recruit him.
Mercs figting for the rebels are a feature, a bit annoying considering you have to kill them and the town loyalty drops dramatically, but you are given enough snitches for propaganda, so that's not a real problem.

I found boat later after read again the initial topic.
Yes. I recruited Mike. It was hard in the beginning, but it seemed bugged, when i was not teleported to safehouse. I recruited skipper but the thing is he has key from the top floor (as in vanilla, 1.13, or they changed it?)

I did not about N7, will check it today.

is there any way to turn off loyalty penalty for Hiding/ Intel gather for spies? I know it is bug (it should be related to retreat/defeat in the sector, I reported it long time ago, not sure if it was fixed.

Could you check Assault vest? it has only 2 tiny pockets.
Backpacks are not useless that is for sure.
Snitches Elliot, Weasel, Hurl and sometimes Bud are helping with loyalty growth.

My point is it is difficult if you spend all of the money in Meduna, do not have enough medkits, ammo and you have to fight your way to the nearest mine. Then it is peace of cake. It is possible to beat the game easily with only local mercs.

Frankly I never played with spies, so I do not know about solving that penalty in loyalty.
I do not understand which teleport doesn't work, if it's in the initial map you bang them and talk to the guy in the building and you get teleported downstairs.

Yes, Scorpion tried to provide enough manpower to solve all the problems the player faces. Local recruits are enough, you don't really need anyone else. That being said, a merc like Henning for example (Deidranna does say to summon her military advisors) is a plus, saves a lot of time training militias.

I only did some maps for this mod (most of them actually), what I can say is that I doubt The Scorpion will do further work on this. Not anytime soon at least.

By the way Tony teleported to San Mona from Meduna. Same happened to Madlab(from Orta to Camria region).
