Hello there

I have cleared about 70% of the map and still haven't found Cobra. Is he in the game always ? I am pretty sure that his location is random, since he is driving around in his Jeep. But if i walk in a sector that he's in, do i get the message that my squad has noticed someone in the sector ? I do not remember but in other playthroughs, i've always found him somewhere between Alma and Cambria, relatively early in the game. This time around, nor hide or hair and i have uncovered most of the map, working from E to W. Any information please ?

He should still be in the game, he was pretty much like Hamous in vanilla and would appear fairly randomly in a number of sectors in his army jeep. I can't remember if the 'Someone in sector' message comes up, I think it used to.

Perhaps anyone else playing recently could mention if they've encountered him of late?

Yeah, can't remember if he's always on a road or not, the Jeep is one of the vehicles that can go off road. I'd swear though, that i remember finding him on roads, 2 or 3 times.

Found him, on a road and i did get the message about someone in the sector. Only thing that buffled me, it's that the sector had been explored or at least what it looked like. Maybe one of my scouts was on the adjoining sector, reinforcements came from the sector where i found Fulvias, so it was showing as explored. Had to take my teams following the roads, sector by sector.

I also noticed that I found Cobra very late in my most recent game. I only had two cities left to conquer when I randomly ran into him. Not sure if I was just unlucky or if the threshold for him to appear has changed.
