Heeeeellllp!!!
My curiosity is killing me! The 4 crates in the Meduna SAM site...i cant open them even with a 99 Mech merc!!!Is there a key or something? I found a key with a magnetic strip (not a key card) but it doesnt seem to work on the crates. Whats the key for anyway? Also in the Orta basement i found 3 elongated mags of some wierd ammo with a light blue strip. At first i thought it would fir the G11 but nope!

The "Lockpick"-trait should help a lot dealing with your problem. I'd recommend to make a savegame and to hire Magic to test whether he can lockpick the crate or not. If he can't noone can. In this case I'd recommend using shaped charges to open them.

I guess the "wierd ammo" is 5.7mm ammunition. This type of ammo is designed for the FN-P90 SMG.

In each game that is created there is a secret weapon stash in one of the sectors M9, E11, H10, H5 or J12. M9 is the only sector though that may contain a FN-P90 (best I've found there is two FN-P90, one G11 and one Minimi). This has been changed in patch 1.13 since here each weapon can be found or bought at Bobby Ray's.

I'm not quite sure but I *think* that the key(s) can be used in sector O3 or O4.

Il give it a go! What is the FN-P90 like btw? ppl are always rambling on about it Smile Also, the 'lock pick trait', how do you choose or see someones unique skill? Shadow has stealth i have heard ppl say. I have heard it being mentioned but i thought skills were limited to the usual MECH DEX EXP MRK etc...

Well you have your laptop and when opening it there is the mercs section. And there you can click on one of the mercs you currently have, then in the mercs info there is something like, autoweapons, psycho, optimistic, stealthy, night-ops ect. lockpick is one of those.
What you have for your IMP character, those depend on how you answered on the "questions" when creating the char.

The FN-P90 is a submachinegun (silencer attachable) with a magizine capacity of 50 5.7mm rounds (damage 30, range 22) that needs 6/10 AP (5 rounds) per single shot/burst.

Each mercenary has up to two so-called "skills" like Stealth, NightOps, Automatic Weapons and so on. These skills of AIM- or M.E.R.C.-mercs cannot be viewed on the website in question but only with your laptop: Open your laptop, click "Personal Mercs" and "Stats" (e.g. Magic has the skills Stealth and Lock picking while e.g. Mad Dog has Lock picking (Expert). "Expert" indicates that technically Mad Dog has two times the skill Lock picking). Of course this requires that the mercenary you want to view actually is hired. So if you want to view the skills of single mercenaries I'd recommend to save the game, hire the mercenary in question, watch his stats and reload.

I believe Lockpicking has more to do with the MEchanical skill and dexterity score rather than the presence of a lockpicking skill. I may be wrong though.

Lockpicking helps though

I think it is both. When lockpicking alot the mechanical stats will go up.

Oh, I know the skill is especially important when you get into higher end locks, but for typical locks a solid mech with good dex should be able to open up most stuff.

Surpisingly, Dynamo is pretty decent for picking locks if you don't have another option.
