I'm not doing too well at this Sad
Its Day 51 and i have Atremo, Calisto, Port Kip, Sheraton and now Troy.
However i am finding that Troy's morale isn't going up enough for me to train Militia and i have been attacked in the town about 4 times now.

I haven't had this many counter attacks in the other places - is this part of the game AI for Troy or just because Morale is low.

How do i get Morale up?

If i rescue Skitz from Prax i know it goes up but if the enemy retakes it before i rescue him do i still gain a morale benefit.

thanks

take out a few enemy patrols in the surrounding areas (urban sectors are perfect for this).

In the original JA2 loyalty (morale) would go up with 1% for approximately every 10 enemies killed.

Once loyalty is above 20% you can train militia, which will also raise loyalty a bit.

Oh, and troy used to be alma, right (I entered former galileo after conquering sheraton, port kip, calisto and atremo. Haven't reached Troy yet)??

If I have read enough about how the modding works, then all quests from the original JA2 will also appear in JA2 UC. This means that the "Alma bloodcat quest" should have its counterpart in UC. That quest will also raise loyalty.

yeah i remeber that i had problem with troy also

after i took it and had maybe 20-40 green militia traind and these hellish red dots start to pop up and circle my town!

150+ of em after a while!

best thing to do i find is not to move yer kill squad out to conquer more land, keep them around then attack them at night time

i think i killed half of them before i left troy Very Happy

the rest will be easier to kill for the militia

Try to rescure Skitz from Prax. He gave me a morale boost of 20-25% (don't know excactly).

Also we shouldn't let them by the city for too long as they recruit their own people on the spot and grow while you wait.

My town of troy is filled with militias(The regular type). What happened was that 1 of the sector was attacked by 25 (or is it 50) enemy units with reinforcement nearby. I tried a few auto resolves and found that the town sector lost pathetically...

Luckily My mercs are nearby and i decided to use 3 chars to take the enemy out (combat patrol). Problem is that when i attack their sector, I found myself facing 50 enemies...

Good think my team was up to the task... Fought the sector for about an hour... hiding, sniping, running... you get the idea
