Hello everybody!
This is my first post. I've played JA2_UC for two or three days and I found it absolutely awesome.
This is not a spoiler, this is a nice tip to deal with underground gangbang.
Well. Le's go: When you go to fight underground gangbang, nomally they shoot at you first. But I've found a solution to this "problem". Do like this:
1. When you enter the map, and BEFORE the gangbang boss starts to talk, move the pointer around the map and find a good place to stay with a good cover.
2. Press Pause/Break key often to get more time to inspect the map.
3. Press + key to select all your mercs.
4. Click the choosed spot to send all your squad there... If between steps 1 and 3 the enemy has started to talk... bad luck. Reload and repeat again.
5. Your squad begins to move and probably, the gangbang boss starts to talk.
6. Wait until all your mercs have reached the selected area...
7. Direct / Threaten enemy boss to trigger the combat.
It's very nice. The enemy boss seems to talk to a wall, a cokecan machine, a subway wagon... because you were not in front of him anymore. Very Happy

You also can try to fire the boss before he can say a word. Then it's your turn Smile

Your reflexes have to be "arcade-quick", however, to pull off such stunts. I never could manage the mouse that quickly...which is why I play turn-based games like JA2 to begin with.

To 9th Hour:

Oh no!
I'm not a master of dexterity, I'm also slow moving the mouse.
Do like this:
When you enter new underground area, press Pause key. You don't need to do key combos or the like... It's easy. Then, with the game paused, take a look at the minimap. This can give you a little idea of where to move the mouse when you resume game.
Then, press Pause key to resume. Press + key to select the whole squad. Then press Pause another time. It's easy... Pause --- + --- Pause.
Now the most difficult trick... Press pause to resume... move mouse and click the square you want... and let the boss talk...
When all your squad is placed... Threaten/Direct to start the combat.
I think I don't need arcade-quick reflexes to do this...

To spermi:

Your tactic is also good, but I think mine is better, because that lets your squad without cover and althrough you can kill the boss without reply, there are more thugs to shoot at you...
But well... I will try your tactic next underground battle. I will tell you the results.

I have to say that I tested it only one time because I usually don't use the subway,I clean the subways from the entries and not by train Wink

.
hints:
He MUST walk,if you come with train and stand next to him,you can't shot before he starts to talk.

You needn't to hit him,only one shot whereever you want and it should be your turn. (Goes to Ninth Hour,too Wink

)
