 Hello to all the members of the Bear's Pit Forums,

I've been here several times lurking over a few years even, but I decided today to sign up.
Why?
Well, I have played JA2 and JA2UB for a while now, and wanted something more.
Knowning from my own experience from modding BG2 and Arcanum I was sure some cool things would have been made.
With joy I play Rubicon for JA2UB now (even if I sometimes get CTD's when talking to people & having to modify one map as it wouldn't load (SAM site)).
So, I also wanted to see if I could challange myself with a new JA2. I mean after knowning a lot of tricks in the books, I have even made a mercenary without any cheats that got so sick stats it almost wasn't funny anymore Wink (several 90's (like 99 mark.) and even 2 100's).
So I wanted to try Deidranna lives, and I had been looking forward to it (I have it longer, but I wanted to finish the game with 10 lives (and thinking of replaying one), but I wanted to do so in JA 1.13.... but that doesn't install saying it requires mod.dll.
That suprises me for why does it need a dynamic library link from a mod? What is this old veteran doing wrong, and how can I install it?
With secondly what is nice editing program? I have used JAPE in the old days (to modify my merc for specials (i.e. heavy weapons). However that doesn't run on XP. So downloading JA2AIO it needs an imp.dat, which I can not find... neither does it seem I can modify saved games. Which I want to do because I always got normaly personallity even if I aimed with the questions for another one (I have the list on how to do that), but that may due to flawed dutch version I used to play.

I hope that the board is so kind as to tell this old fool where I need to go for a nice savegame editor and how to install 1.13.
