I heavily rely on auto weapons, but I actually never figured that out... Instinctively I'd say burst has a lesser penalty than full auto, but I have nothing to back that up. Surely the advantage of burst fire can't only be not firing additional bullets? They tend to be the same in terms of AP cost.

Is there a difference, and if so, how large is it?
