Hey there,

luckily I found a JA2 forum that still seems to have an active community so hopefully anyone can help me. Background: After years of abstinence I bought the steam version JA2 Wildfire with JA 2 Classic as DLC included to appease my arisen thirst for this game.

I already recognized the following "bug" in Wildfire. I cant click on the left browser options in the ingame laptop. So when I try to click on "E-mails" or on the tab to go to A.I.M for example I am kind of blocked. I cant move there as if there would be a wall, the end of the screen or whatever. I must press "tab" and "enter" to chose anything in the laptop. By pressing "ESC" I can close the laptop to have access to the world map and there I can move the cursor all to the left but the described "bug" appears again as soon as I open the laptop.

This strange circumstance doesnt appear in the DLC JA2 Classic so I played this game until I tried to travel more west of the land like to Estonia or San Mona. The similar issue appears so that I cant move the cursor more left than Cambria as soon as I want to set a travel target for my troops. So half of the world map is blocked for me.

I started Wildfire again and next to the "laptop wall" there is the same "world map wall" when setting a travel target like in Classic.

What can I do? No one else seems to have this problem and by using Windows 7 I even dont have Windows 8 or 10 which seem to cause more problems.
