Playing the game on higher difficulty settings turns it into either constant cheesing or a reload simulator due to the limited number of mercs in the game. A feature could easily fix it and make permanent death of characters more palatable.
This feature could be as following:
1) Generates randomized hireable mercs to replace any dead mercs and adds them to the M.E.R.C site.
I think similar feature was in the older Rainbow Six games, where dead operatives were replaced by randomized operatives with default ? portrait.
