Can confirm. For some reason, they added a lot of ammo "flavours" (9mm comes in standard, AP, HP, tracer, match, subsonic and shock) but oversimplified the calibers. Considering the scarcity of the ammo probably not having a rare caliber was a smart choice. Just switching the SVD to its proper ammo will most likely render it useless after 2 battles. Not defending their choice, just saying the fix is a tad more complex than one would expect in terms of actual balancing.
