Hiya., am having massive difficulty trying to download this mod (along with de- lives and vengeance).. have tried the links on this site as well as a few of my own I've found., but they keep crapping out at various stages. I'm getting about 140 Kbps when attempting to download it so I don't 'think' my connection is the problem here..

I added the above quote.. it's 2 years old now.. can anybody --> please <-- help with updated mirrors???

I haven't played it for ages and just stumbled on this site/mods while searching for JA3 gear.. I'm practically drooling.

If anyone lives in Australia mebbe a sent disk with mods is an idea?? will re-imburse any costs and chuck in a six pack for yer efforts Smile

 Thanks craigmsandy.. any info is appreciated.

The (JA2 Urban Chaos) link was the first, and subsequently on failures of other links, perhaps the 5th and 12 try as well.

The hybrid one (UC-1.13 Public Beta) I 'did' look at, but it seems that the file is only 20 mb's.. which put me off as they generally hover around 160/180 mb's.

Sheesh, for something (apparently) freely available, how hard can it be????

Frustrating, but many thanks again.

 hey i got it downloaded but I'm having a lot of trouble with quick fix 2 and getting everything into one file like it says, I've been trying for three days straight, in the instructions it says to pull up JA2_UC.exe, iunno where to find this like i downloaded a fresh copy of jagged alliance 2 v 1.03 from the blue install disk I'm just really stuck and have no idea what to do

 Err lockie can you alter the UC entry to have the SCI at the top. It'll help with noobs wanting to install it Wink

 Lmao I totally am a n00b when it comes to computer games and mods, ok I had no problem downloading the game I have from three different sites, i tried the one you gave frootle to try and it did downloaded perfectly what i'm having trouble with is after I download I don't know how to put everything together for it to work. This is in order what I did; I first downloaded the original copy of JA2, than I downloaded the mod from the link above so i launched it from JAMOD squad at the start menu than I went through the loading process it said I had all the files than I hit next than it said error I don't want to mess things up so could you tell me what to do from here? Sorry for the inconvience.

Hi Dan09, Welcome to the board!

Please don't worry about messing anything up, you can always try again by installing from scratch.

If you get an error chances are something didn't go in order / correctly during the install, in which case I suggest reinstalling from scratch. Usually the game file comes with a readme file of some sort explaining the steps on what to do.

If I got this right the Urban Chaos zip file you downloaded has a readme file with the name UC_README.TXT, I copied a portion of it into the message below for your convenience:

Prerequisites
-------------
This is the ENGLISH Version of Urban Chaos only. Installing this version over another JA2 Language is NOT supported.

It is HIGHLY recommended that you install a fresh copy of JA2 on your computer before attempting to install Urban Chaos. If you install Urban Chaos over another MOD, it will result in a

 Dan09 the easiest way is to install a clean version of JA2 and then use the SCI I made of Urban Chaos. No need for other files or anything just a simple install Wink
