Sorry, forgot to put a return on my request,
Start again, I purchased & downloaded ja2ub installed ok - hire mercs- when i try to go to island get message- Intro video not found - maybe someone could send the file to me or where I could go to get file.

Perhaps, you need to uninstall and re-install the game.
Also, I am not sure if this is what you need, but...
After hiring the mercs, you need to click/double click an area (bottom-right side) that reads "Pause"
That will start a cut-scene and drop you (quite literally "a drop") inland.
