 So on startup my entire screen is black ( i can hear the menu music playing but can't see anything )

Why? How to fix this?

 It seems something related to your monitor resolution, try to adjust the in game resolution by modifing JA2.ini

I dont have intro disabled, i will look for that

Some people had luck with it - I hadn't in the past, will give win10 with JA2 another try on a different computer shortly.

There's a bunch of steps but for some it seems to work earlier than others...

Disabling intro is one of them.

Oh yeah and congrats on the half-decade.

 I tried it all but can't get it to work :/

Edit:

Got it to work but with nasty lag not sure

Edit 2:

Windowed mode seems to kinda reduce the lag, but is not comfortable for me to play in

Now it runs quite fine

but the lag endures (on my secondary pc)

i will try my main pc anytime soon
