I present a pack that changes all JA2 default music to something totally different. It may not be to everyone's taste but I felt that an alternative was in order due to the lack of published replacement music packs for JA2. Let me know what you think of it. Install instructions in readme or as follows:
1. Extract to Data\Music in your JA2 directory (ex: C:\Games\JA2\Data\Music)
2. Run install.bat to convert FLAC files
3. Play JA2

Here is a set of previews to give a small taste of the direction/feel.

Download (253 MB)
Mediafire (2 parts due to 200mb limit)
Skydrive (requires login)

A little bit faster on the beats and I would go partying on the music ;D
But seriously, I personally think it doesnt fit into the game so much, I think the music from the game is already pretty fitting, but if someone wants to replace it, then it should sound a little bit action-movie like, like the music from Under Siege for example.

Like that for example:
Gary Chang - They sink the sub (Under Siege OST)

Yeah it may not fit so great but I think the music is generally appropriately action-y/tense where required. I just wanted to do something different as opposed to a standard military/war themed soundtrack. Certainly, the default soundtrack is good. But, for me, it gets old after hearing it for the 1000th time. I usually just turn the music off, that's why I wanted to do something crazy like this. :naughty:
