definately wrong

only m*e*r*c-mercs go awol (flo does not hate anyone) - you can micromanage a.i.m.-mercs to have all a 200-days-contract (i did that) - when you get a catfight-squad (buns, fox, spider, meltown, flo, impress) they have to stick around (due to their contracts) now, you will see what happens

- morale goes to rock-bottom - the onlyone who may keep some morale will be fox (sic!)
- nasty comments on each other (meltdown -> flo, buns -> fox, spider -> buns)
- nasty comments on co
- a lot of beauty sleep

=> catfight-squad will probably not be able to fight it's way out of a wet paperbag

come on guys, most of you have played that game over and over - why don't you try a fun-variant the next time you go to arulco

I had Razor travel on foot over land with Biff and Flo, he didn't even make it to the next sector before he quit. I mean quit, quit - he dumped his gear and went bye, bye - gone.

(Naturally Biff and Flo couldn't carry his gear with their strength, awesome...)

hehe now thats wierd, never really did hire most of the arguing ones, i only hired IMPress Fox and Buzz as the starting, recruited Ira for her medical skills ONLY( also i can train Fox to be a better marksman than a medic) etc etc and kicked Dedrianna's queenie butt at the end

yeah I think that enough females mercs are availible for playing anf finishing the game. Wildfire has new faces and I hope new mods will have also male and female

Given that she's the only one at A.I.M. to have had an enemy die at her feet from sheer terror once, there might be more to this theory than you'd think...

I tried to hire both Buns and Fox but Buns is quite a bitch and hates poor Foxy. In the Data\BinaryData folder there's a proedit.exe and with that I removed Buns' negative emotions. I also copied prof.dat into Data-1.13\BinaryData where all the mod related stuff are stored. Started a new game but Buns still acts meanly. Is her hatred hard coded and not possible to make them friends with editors?

you edited the wrong prof.dat

either set alwaysuseprofdat to true or edit prof-XXX-dat (rename to prof.dat and re-rename to original name after editing)

XXX:= expert/tons of guns or whatever you play

that only works with a new game

and ...

What about using the voices of the chicks in Jagged Alliance: deadly games? One should be able to use the 4 female alumni AIMs... Some sound files need editing and such but I guess some of you are in to modding.
Anyone?

I usually (90% of the games) have NO females in my squad, unless I play big games with 32 mercs, conquering all sectors etc. Then I have a couple of females for doctoring and militia training.

What me old fashioned?

I haven't run an all-girl team, but I did once have a B-team comprised of five black guys and Fox.

I think that's more about the effect of the internet on modern sensibilities than how to play Jagged Alliance, though.
