For crates and lockers i shoot at it with my IMP girl or Buzz, if its a locked door with red shirts, blast the whole section of the door off

I already won this by hiring most female mercs from AIM and the other few i mentioned in my earlier posts
and i was playing only female in 1.07, not 1.13

Blast them, pick them, force them. Man these doors are tough, good thing that sniper rifles are around, those locks are meant to be broken, just like rules

Right this topic seems dead, time to revive it with another related post.
Starting with Buzz is a choice in Vanilla, but in 1.13, trying to keep her long enough for the Drassen counter attack is a problem i am facing, any cheaper, good female mercs to hire in the start?

Using PCM, i often hire Maria. She's kinda nice too.

Designing custom female mercs is very tricky because you need voice actresses. Since the ja2 community is almost scaringly male-only, this is hard to achieve.
Also, supposedly beatiful faces are harder to design that male faces (the latter supposedly badass looking rather than beatiful)
Often people end up using photos of some celebrity women for this purpose, but this ultra-cheap method tends to just not fit to the faces of other mercs

Relax. Didn't mean to offend, just a random observation. Marko's request was just phrased the way I couldn't resist Smile

Sure thing, modders can add some cheap and good females to AIM or MERC - they're modders after all, so it's their chosen calling. Question is, who will hire the new females?
Please also note Scorpion's comments - he's hit some mean nails on the head. Especially that one about the percentage of females in the JA2 community - come to think of it, the percentage of female mercs in JA2 is much bigger Very Happy

Of course, as a suggestion for a willing mod, this is a brilliant idea.

what kind of script's - npc-scripts or 'screenplay' scripts?

here you find a file gpv.7z that has all lines for imps, a.i.m.- and m*e*r*c-mercs

there is no problem to actually do the files after voice-actors filled that gpv.xls (of course there has to be some discussion - if they are done all by the same guy they probably get boring)

1. the actor proposes lines
2. we agree on it
3. the actor does about 10 lines (for testing)
4. the actor does them all
5. i upload the new imp

it's all descriped here

with a few female gpv-voices stocked modders could draw from that pool - npcs are a little different, cause they are much more story-related

of course it's also easy to cut from movies if someone does the paperwork* and provides sound-rips

* getting a screenplay and mark the lines in it, that is
