SandroUhm a little unrelated question: How often do you guys experience an enemy soldier launching mortar? If ever?
If the enemy has a mortar and one of them still sees one of your soldiers past the end of your turn, then it is almost 100 percent the enemy will fire the mortar at you during their turn (when the enemy gets full AP).
The fire chance is much lower if you are spotted during the enemy turn, especially toward the end of their turn (because the enemy mortar guy is likely to have spent all APs).
Edit:
DepressivesBrotI think the % chance on pressing F didn't include the whole formula and is basically borderline useless, I don't know if that was changed later though. The only 'reliable' percent chance you'd be able to get out of NCTH anyway would be the ratio between target area and one of the circles.
Yo DB, I stopped using the F key, the percentage output is incorrect, that's what it was. I got used looking at the circles and it is intuitive, there just needs to be an explanation of what the two circles mean, like the help system maybe.
Is there a way to judge how likely you are to hit the legs or head? I still miss quite a lot trying head shots with a sniper rifle, lying prone, with bipod and sniper scope.
Using the aimed auto fire works better now, just don't use so many aim clicks and use more bullets instead, hehe. However seeing the bullets fly all along a line is still new to me, I am used to the shotgun type spray from Vanilla.
