Hi!
I am using Windows 10 Pro. My processor is an Intel i5-2400, 3.10 GHz. I have 8 gigs of ram. My monitor can't support high color graphics--it's too advanced for that! ;)
I used the INI file to adjust the player turn speed up factor to .5. This helped some. Even at 800x600, the game is still jerky.
Should I try running it in a compatibility mode? Is there anything else I can do to help the game run at a normal speed?

I'm sorry, I'm using the latest version, 7435, and there's only a "Windows 8 Fix". Is that what you mean?
Edit: I tried the first suggestion, and it seems to work, thank you!

I have similar problem. The NVIDIA does not recognize graphic adepter and tries to run it on integrated graphic, which is not good.
Even if I set default running with High performance graphic adepter it still violates the setting and run it constantly as integrated.
It's propably problem of NVIDIA driver. If I am trying to start original instalation of JA 2 Gold from GOG, the result is the same.
When I am starting it directly with High performance graphic adapter it results in message to set this setting in NVIDIA panel because of lack of permissions.
I am ADMIN on W10, so it shouldn't be the problem unless there is some glitch in graphical driver which cannot recognize the program.
It results in heavy stuttering even in menu screen.
The described behavior is even in clean install.

It was done by windowed mode, set it for true and it works like a charm even on integrated graphics!
I was tring to solve this for hours, because I have missed it.
