Has anyone noticed that sometimes things add too much or too little to the percentage weight for a merc?

Usually it can be fixed by a bit of moving around of stuff, but I was wondering why it did it...

It's a bug. Happens quite often with stacks of items. Almost like it multiplies rather than adds the weights together.

I think I've seen some weirdness with toolkits too. I'm not sure if combining two partials sometimes increases the weight or if there's couple in the maps with high weights.

Too little I haven't seen or wasn't paying attention. Going overweight is more obvious.

I only noticed too little recently in UC - Ivan had a few RPG tandems, one of which apparently didn't weigh anything! I wasn't complaining...

ok .... i noticed it too, in 1.07 and UC
what about a fix or something ?
i tried dropping the stack and picking it up with another merc, then passing it to the initial one. still the same
However .. u can take advantage of this, when it's overweight .. use the strenght/health bug to train with more weight on a merc

If you have an overweight stack of items, it can usually be fixed by moving the stack to the inventory screen and individually restacking each item back into the merc's inventory (i.e. move the items back one at a time rather than all at once).

Occasionally, there will be an item that just weighs more than it's supposed to. I've noticed that with the remote triggers you can buy from Devin.

i noticed that with detonators (1st time) then with canteens but then again with some canister of gas, i can't recall which ... it's either smoke, tear gas or mustard gas.... the throwing kind.
and i did the re-arranging Wink but then it "struck" me .. to use this bug to gain a rather unfair advantage in loading a merc beyond capacity, to gain strenght faster ... and perhaps a lvl in health points too.
