We're glad to announce a great find by our member Rusty2by4. From the depths of the Internet he digged out an amazing face generator, once used for the game Original War. It's a great tool for anyone who wants to put a fresh face in the game and has a lot of tweaks . Check out what it can do and give it a try here:

Albeit the library is still limited to whatever OW used for character generation and the editor lacks an export function, it allows producing animated faces and previewing the animation outside the game and before packing everything into STI files. Our friend Jmich joined the quest for a face editor and managed to get hold of Stucuk, the guy who has the source code for OW. And thru some amazing diplomacy he got him to make us a special version of the face editor, that saves bitmap AND specific animation parts (mouth and eyes)! Download both editors, place new .exe near old one and enjoy! Now the editor is perfectly usable. NOTICE: I've prepared a new download that includes both editors, please check the original topics.
