Didn't realize the forum was still operative, since the 'new' website seems to have progressed as far as it's going to. Luckily the archives are posted, and was surprised to see someone actually talking about New Jagged Union at some buried link. I sure was jumped quick for being off topic. Too bad they don't react that quickly when links are broken and subway map schematics are washed from this site. Oh well... I'm just a diehard from the 'good old days' of the Pit.

So here's the deal. I'm about halfway through UC, but really don't want to take every map to get to the end. Hell, I don't even want to take every town. So could you please tell me how to get to the island without a name at the bottom of the campaign map and/or tell me what general location I can find my POW merc along with the ambassador. Tks!

The ambasador is in the klink in the Chitzena replacement town, as for the POW I'd imagine s/he would be in the same sectors as s/he would be in in vanilla JA2 (such as the Alma military prison). To get to the island I think theres a sector or two called "port" or "harbour" that allow you to walk accross to the island.

At least thats what I remember, havent played UC in a while

Tks, it's a start. The jail isn't in the same location, though. If it is, then my merc is MIA for good, cuz he wasn't there. I appreciate it!

Check the Alma Prison site again I would. For some reason you don't always get the "your captured team members are here" text. They should be in a fenced off compound and their equipment is only re-available by blowing a hole in a wall.
